Today in class we learned about editing photos in the app Snapseed. I took this photo my Junior year behind the dorm building I lived in, Riggs Hall. One of my favorite parts of living on Lakeside was enjoying the sunset every night, so this photo brings back a lot of pleasant memories for me. I think the sunset really has a lot of impact due to all the different colors (a range of orange to blue).

I really like how the edit came out, it really took this already beautiful photo to the next level. I really wish I took the original photo in landscape and HDR mode on my phone, but now that I have learned how to edit photos in class, I will take future photos with it in mind. We talked about how important color and balance was in photography today also, some things I also did not think about in the past when taking my pictures.

Snapseed HDR mode:

Filter Strength +50

Brightness -18

Saturation +39
