For my round 5 project, I did a takeover on Pinterest for Oz Health and Tech. I class account password was lost, so I did my takeover as a board on my own health and wellness account, which gave m
e a unique opportunity to try and grow my own account from the ground up. On my real account, I have a decent amount of followers and get a lot of repins from my board. I found it hard to gain traction on my newly created account.

I found an article about how to increase your following on pinterest. I tried using the tips and did gain 2 followers. I think if I continued to post on the account for several weeks to a month, I could gain a lot more followers. One of the tips was to follow other users, so I followed a lot of health and wellness related accounts, I also tried to be consistent with my posting (a little everyday). I created so separate sections within a board to repin content and I put my original content (reflections and projects) on different boards. Organizing your pins was also a tip for having a successful account.
📷 This is a screen shot of my account. I followed 46 users and ended up at the end of my week of posting with 2 followers.

This is the board I made to use for my takeover. I created 5 sections (Gardening, Spiritual Wellness, Healthy Eating, Quotes, and Exercise). I wanted to post content that was interesting to me. I wanted to make my account relevant to me and what I wanted to research and use.
